Some Summer Fun!

So we had our trip to Kalahari with the kids, and Alisha's boyfriend and his little brother also joined us. We had a wonderful time, but we definitely came back tired! At one point I almost found myself crying because I realized that my little baby boy is growing up. Last year when we went to Kalahari Andrew could barely walk in the water, and this year he went down some water slides all byhimself. Andrew has no fear of water, which is good but it also scares me a bit. Notice the picture where Andrew is acting like a boy like usual and he has his finger up his nose. I couldn't get him to take it out for the picture, and I figured it captured him at how he really is. I had a wonderful time with my family and I'm thankful for the time I have with all of them.

I Heart Faces - Photo Challenge (At the Beach)

This was a picture I took years ago of Megan, and has always been my favorite beach picture! So this was a hands down easy pick of a beach picture for the theme "At the Beach".

Evening at the lake!

So we went up to the lake tonight by our house, and I worked some on my photography using Andrew, Megan, and Cain as subjects. I'm learning new things everyday, but I'm afraid I've pushed my camera to the limits. I'm really needing to get a new camera soon in order to do much more, but for now, I'll try to capture what I can with what I got!

My Anniversary!

So I decided to surprise Cain for our anniversary this year, and I took him to a castle two weeks ago! It was such a fun, and romantic date! The second Saturday of every month the Loveland Castle has knights, and other different people from that time. We watched a few shows, and when we watched the knights show, they called me up on stage. How embarrassing. I'm one of those people who doesn't want to stand out, so I wasn't to comfortable with everyone watching me up there. The knights taught me a few things about sword fighting, and then they actually gave me a real sword to practice with. Then I got to spar with one of the knights but with a soft sword. I think the knight let me win, but Cain was proud of me of how aggressive I got. Later that same knight jumped into a picture Cain was taking of me. It was a lot of fun, and the history of the castle was really fascinating! Happy 14th Anniversary Cain!!!

Remind me again, why I married him! I guess you marry for better or for worse, and this could be the worse side! I love him anyway!!!

Here is the knight that jumped into the picture with me! I'm personally glad that Cain is my true knight and shining armour!

Andrew's Fun Day at Kiddie Park with Matthew!

So a few weeks ago Andrew got to go with his best bud Matthew to the Kiddie Park. It brought back so many memories, because I took each one of my kids when they were little to this little kids amusement park! I was afraid Andrew was going to scream and get scared of the rides, but he actually did great, and he never cried once. My little boy is so brave! Later we went and had a picnic lunch at a nearby park, and then back to Matthew's to play. What a great day! Here are some pictures of the day!
